Arnold Bennett’s Amazing Women

To get into the spirit of the forthcoming week that celebrates women (with International Women’s Day on Friday and Mothering Sunday too), why not come and join us upstairs at the Dudson Centre, to discover Arnold Bennett’s Amazing Women.

Arnold Bennett was an expert at writing strong female characters in all his work. During this film showing, produced by the Staffordshire Film Archive and the Arnold Bennett Society, we will review his most famous women and see various portrayals brought to life in dramatised sequences.

The film will roll throughout the day between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Don’t worry if you miss the start; you can pop back for the next showing time.

Meanwhile,  you can explore the creative arts, craft, and food stalls at our Spring Makers Market, relax in the café, and step inside our wonderful Grade II-listed bottle oven to discover the beautiful Dudson ceramic collection. There will be lots to enjoy!
