Summer Makers Fair 2023
Following the success of our first artisan fair in March, we are now inviting quality local makers to join us at our next event.
We are hosting a Summer Makers Fair on Saturday 1st July 10am – 3pm.
It will be located at the Dudson Centre again, but this time we will have more emphasis on the courtyard, where we want to create a lovely summer market vibe, with ready assembled market stalls surrounding the bottle oven.
We want the public to enjoy the stalls filled with beautiful work by local makers, artists, photographers, potters, jewellers, and all kinds of wonderful handmade goods.
The event is complete with museum tours, and activities for young children, plus everyone can enjoy a drink, a slice of homemade cake, lunch or snack in the Dudson Café. We also have picnic benches in the courtyard for people to relax between browsing the stalls.
Despite the wet spring weather in March, we had a surprisingly good turnout of customers coming along to our very first makers event and buying from the stallholders, we want this summer event to be even bigger and better. We will have more stalls available, and the pitch price is still very affordable at £17.
Time is of the essence, so don’t miss your chance and register your interest in a stall today.
