WHAT TO EXPECT
The Dudson Museum is a place where history, craftsmanship, and heritage come to life! Nestled within the walls of an enchanting Grade II listed bottle oven, our museum is a celebration of the iconic Dudson brand. Stepping through the oven door, you embark on a journey that takes you back in time, delving into the captivating story of a family business that left an indelible mark on the world of ceramic tableware.
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always on hand to answer your questions, and guide you through he story of Dudson Pottery.
You can also take a break in our onsite cafe selling a selection of delicious homemade food and drinks and visit our gift shop which stocks a selection of items from local makers and artisans.
The Dudson Museum is open Monday to Friday 10:00am to 3:00pm.
The first Saturday of each month 11am – 3pm. (Starting October 2023) For event details, see our events calendar.
The museum is closed on Bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year
General entry is free of charge and does not require tickets.
Special events will require tickets due to limited availability, see our events calendar for more information and booking instructions.
The bottle oven has wheelchair access to the ground floor only.
The rest of the Dudson Centre is a 3-storey building and is fully accessible for people with disabilities with a lift that operates across all floors. Both the front and rear entrances are accessible for wheelchairs, with the main entrance being directly off a public car park which has spaces for disabled users.
Disabled washroom facilities are available on the ground floor and the first floor.

The Dudson Café serves a range of tasty food and a selection of hot and cold drinks in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with regular specials, our menu has something for everyone.
Feel free to swing by for a quick drink, or settle in and enjoy your lunch while taking in the view of the courtyard and the charming grade II listed bottle oven.
The Dudson Centre Shop showcases ceramics of iconic Dudson heritage alongside a selection of contemporary crafts, artwork, and other items made by local makers and small businesses; a wonderful sample of the vibrant and creative art scene in Stoke-on-Trent.
